He was born August 5,1929 in Maryville, Illinois and came to this area 29 years ago from Collinsville, Illinois. He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean War and was employed as a receiving clerk in the Chemical industry.
He is survived by his sons: Gary Reid of Spring Hill, Florida, Kevin Reid and Frank Reid, both of Illinois; sisters: Louise Fernandez and Shirley Edmonds; five grandchildren.
