Sandra "Sandy" Wilene Mercer

She was born July 5, 1949 in St. Petersburg, Florida and came to this area seasonally since 1982 and became a permanent resident in 1994.  She retired in 2008 from Honeywell in Clearwater, Florida after 41 years.  She loved being outdoors, horses, gardening, mowing her yard, watching "The Price is Right" everyday, and her little Maltese, Lucy.   She was Christian by faith.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred Mercer, her parents, William E. Jr. and Sylvia Jones, and her sister, Terry Sessions.  She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Richard Hurley of Dunnellon, Florida and Randall & Jodi Hurley of St. Petersburg, Florida; daughters and sons-in-law, Kandice & Craig Hotop of Panama City Beach, Florida and Krystal & Jason White of Lithia, Florida; brother Emmitt Jones of Winter Haven, Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie & Charles Hardy of Spring Hill, Florida; grandchildren, Tyler, Kirstin, Cecelia, Alyssa, Dalton, Quintin, Zachary, and Brionna.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00pm, Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Sandy's house.
