Sophia Nicole Long

Sophia Nicole was born at 10:18am on Friday, July 1, 2022 and although her life was very short here on this earth, it was full of love, comfort, and happiness. She spent each precious moment of her life surrounded by her parents, family, and friends. She was a beautiful baby girl, who loved people cuddling with her and singing to her. Her favorite song was “Jesus Loves Me”. What comfort it is to know that she is now in the arms of Jesus, who loves her so much.

Sophia is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Reverend David Clevenger. Sophia is survived by her parents: Reverend Kevin D. and Megan K. Clevenger Long of Spring Hill, Florida; paternal grandparents: Keith and Cecilia Long of Mount Dora, Florida; maternal grandmother: Sally Clevenger of Inverness, Florida; aunt: Kellie and her husband, Michael Shellenberger of Maitland, Florida; aunt: Kendra and her husband, Henrry Silva of La Paz, Honduras; aunt: Ebba Jean and her husband, Josh Balmer of Yonkers, New York; uncle: Marl Clevenger and his wife, Brittany of Monroe, Georgia; and several cousins.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00-11:00am, Friday July 22, 2022 at Grace Tabernacle Independent Baptist Church, where funeral services begin at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Spring Lake Cemetery, Brooksville, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Sophia, to Grace Tabernacle Independent Baptist Church Building Fund at 1661 W. Jefferson Street, Brooksville, Florida 34601.
