Steven Ray Bucher

BUCHER, Steven R., age 55 of Brooksville passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013 at his home. Born in Worthington, MN he came to this area from Hudson, FL where he moved to in 1981 after also living in South Dakota and Iowa. Steven, from the young age of 14 started his first job delivering salt. He then went on to work for Lindsey Water in Iowa from 1972-1991 until he opened his own water conditioning business, Tri-County Water Treatment. He would then merge his business with his father, Ferdinand and become Bayside Water Conditioning, Inc. in 1996. He was also on a bowling league at Spring Hill Lanes and a golfer. He is survived by his wife of 26 years: Connie; sons & daughters-in-law: Kristopher & Christina of Spring Hill and Joseph & Alyssa of Okinawa; daughters & son-in-law: Pamela & Chris Hawks and Susan Bucher, all of Sioux Falls, SD; parents: Ferdinand & Geraldine Bucher of Sioux Falls, SD; sister: Debra Stofferahn of Sioux Falls, SD and grandchildren: Sophia, Ella, Kirsten, Noel and Victoria.  The family will receive guests starting at 5pm Thursday, September 26, 2013 with a funeral service to begin at 7pm at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel.
