RILEY, Thelma Ruth, age 82, of Brooksville, FL died Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Brooksville Regional Hospital. She was born in Union, SC and came to the area 37 years ago from Panama City, FL. She worked as a housekeeper in the health care industry and was of the Christian faith. Preceded in death by husband, Carl Riley, son, Joseph Hopkins and daughter, Linda O’Boyle, she is survived by sons: Daniel (Marsha) Hopkins; David G. Hopkins, all of Brooksville, FL; step-son: Henry Riley of Dothan, AL; daughter: Barbara R. (Steve) Wilkerson of Pueblo, CO; sisters: Lessie Hopkins; Edna Willis, both of Greer, SC; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. Visitation for friends will be from 1-2:00pm Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at New Hope Baptist Church where funeral services will begin at 2:00pm with Pastor Oliver Bevins officiating. Burial will follow at Brooksville Cemetery.
