Thomas A. Violette

VIOLETTE, Thomas A., age  68 of the Community of Brookridge in Brooksville died Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at his home. Born in Providence, RI he came to this area 6 years ago from Massachusetts. He was a pressman for the Boston Globe, a US Marine Corp Vietnam Veteran and of the Episcopal faith. Thomas also was a member of the Marine Corp League in Spring Hill, the Elks in Brooksville and was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Albert and Stuart Violette. Survivors include his wife of 39 years: Margaret; son: Tom Violette of Weymouth, MA; daughters: Dawn Maligno or Hanson, MA and Dina Kyller of Quincy, MA; brother: Herbert Violette of FL; sisters: Priscilla Palombo and Roberta Reed, both of Kingston, MA and Janice Tyler of Randolph, MA and 5 grandchildren. Visitation for friends will be 12 noon – 3pm Sunday, September  26, 2010 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel where a funeral service will be conducted at 3pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to HPH Hospice or the Multiple Myeloma Assoication.
