William John Kuhn Sr.

William was born on January 7, 1939, in Bristol, Pennsylvania, to William McKeage Kuhn and Margaret Elizabeth (Taylor) Kuhn. He graduated from Delhaas High School and proudly served his country as a Veteran of the United States Army. After his military service, he went on to become a successful entrepreneur, owning his own business and rental properties. Through his work, William formed many lifelong friendships. He and his wife also devoted many years as foster parents, opening their home and hearts to others.

William was a loving family man who cherished his family dearly. He enjoyed the outdoors and traveling, especially in his motor home. He had a deep passion for gardening and spent countless hours tinkering in his workshop. He also loved fishing, crabbing, boating, playing bingo, and visiting casinos. Known as the family handyman, William was someone everyone turned to for advice, guidance, and help.

William is survived by his eight children: Sharon Kuhn Norwood (Randy), Donna Swanton (Chris), William Kuhn Jr. (Fran), Randy Kuhn (Marge), Christina Williams (Stephen), Catherine Kuhn, Ashley Kuhn Smith (Wesley), and Ty Kuhn.

He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren: Brandyn Kuhn (Jennifer), Tayler Giffrard (Romel), Dustin Swanton, Dannette Swanton-Carpenter, Whitney Jones, Schuyler Swanton (Brianna), Shanna Valentino (Kenny), Christina Craig (Jason), Brittany Meischke (Michael), Lindsay Potts (David), Paige Kuhn (Justin), Tyler Williams, Kylah Williams, Georgia Williams, Hannah Williams, and Gavin Kuhn.

William was blessed with 24 great-grandchildren: Genesis, Everlee, Bexley, Theo, Arya, Kian, Kyden, Kailyn, Gage, Zoeylynn, Holden, Madison, Giovani, Julian, Stella, Ella, Mariah, Bella, Justina, Nyia, Liam, Owen, Paisley, and Pheonix.

He also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, and friends he considered family, along with his significant other, Linda Gerlott.

William is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maryjane Kuhn, whom he married on June 16, 1962; his son, Todd Michael Kuhn; his parents, William and Margaret Kuhn; his sisters, Carol McDevitt and Barbera Volponi; and his mother-in-law, Bertha Viola Ritter.
