Born October 8, 1943 in St Elmo, Illinois to the late George W. and Eleanor McMurdoWalker. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Southern Illinois at Carbondale, and his Juris Doctorate from The University of Illinois. He practiced law for over 40 years in Granite City, IL, specializing in contract and construction law. He had been a resident of St. Simons since 2004. Mr. Walker enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader, walking and tennis.
He is survived by two sisters, Elaine Walker and Marcia Mobley both of Freeburg, IL, a bother, Dale Walker of Wilmore, KY, and several nieces and nephews.
