Andrew Davis, son of Karen Davis Caldwell and the late Dr. Robert Davis, is survived by his mom Karen Davis Caldwell and her husband, Jerry Caldwell; sisters Kari Cornwell (Scott), Katherine tucker (Eric), Susan Komoto (Hiroki); and several nieces and nephews. He was a student of Montisorri on St. Simons Island and Frederica Academy. He graduated from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts and worked at several prestigious restaurants in Atlanta and on St. Simons Island.
He started playing the violin at the age of four which led to future memberships in the Savannah Youth Orchestra, Jacksonville Symphonic Orchestra and the Coastal Symphony of Glynn County. He was an active member of First Baptist Church St. Simons Island. He laughed a lot, he loved his family, singing, fishing, cooking, and all of the arts.
He had a heart for Carenet Crisis Pregnancy Center, understanding that he was adopted. He later learned how we are all adopted by God through Jesus when we accept him as our savior.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7, from at First Baptist Church St. Simons Island. A memorial service and reception will follow at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Carenet Crisis Pregnancy Center or St. Jude’s recovery program in Atlanta.
Arrangements under the direction of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, Brunswick, GA.
