Ann Charlotte Harris Paulk

Mrs. Paulk was a native of Montgomery, Alabama and had been a resident of Glynn County since 1951. She was a graduate of Troy University and Auburn University. She was retired from the Glynn County Board of Education after 25 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of St. Simons and was very involved in the work of the Church and was active in the Community with her time as a volunteer. She had a passion for life and loved doing for her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husbands, Otis Hendrix and Russell Paulk.

Survivors are her daughter, Laura H. Post of Alpharetta, GA, and a son, Bob Hendrix of Dothan, AL, her brother, George Harris of Grady, AL, and her grandchildren Bowen, Harris, Kaity , Turner, Like and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday September 25, 2010 in the First Baptist Church of St. Simons with Dr. Felix Haynes officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the First Baptist Church of St. Simons, 729 Ocean Blvd, St. Simons Island, GA 31522.
