Auralia Vincent Potter, 86, a resident of St. Simons Island, took the hand of God into eternity on July 13, 2011.
She was born Auralia Frizzelle Vincent on October 30, 1924 in Winterville, N.C. to William and Elizabeth Vincent.
Mrs. Potter owned her own travel agency “Rae Potter Plan For Travel” in Atlanta, Ga., for over 25 years. She was a leader in the travel industry, as well as in many organizations and in the Republican Party.
A Christian woman who will be dearly missed.
A beloved mother she is survived by her daughter, Brenda P. Winningham of St. Simons Island.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday 7/30/11 in the St. Ignatius Episcopal Church of St. Simons Island with Rev. Dee Shaffer officiating.
