Beatrice Mae Willoughby Smith, 90, of St. Simons Island, died Monday, April 13, 2015 at her residence. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Wesley United Methodist Church Chapel with Rev. Steve Patton officiating.
Born September 21, 1924 in Orient, Ohio, to the late Ralph and Ruth G. Willoughby, she was retired from South Miami Hospital. She attended Wesley United Methodist Church and was a member of Tazewell United Methodist Church in Tennessee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Warren D. Smith, a son, Gary Smith, and brother Dr. Dale Willoughby.
Survived by daughters Mary Jo (Ron) Townsend, Karen Peeples (David Deloach).
