

Mrs. Faircloth was a native of South Carolina, but resided in Brunswick, Georgia during most of her childhood. After she was married, she moved to Hortense, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Elliott and Rosalee Smith. She was the loving wife for sixty-two years to the late Franklin Roosevelt Faircloth Sr. Mrs. Faircloth was also a homemaker and a member of the Little Memorial Baptist Church in Hortense, Georgia.
The family will receive friends at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM. A funeral service to honor her life will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 16, 2016 in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. The burial will follow the service in the Little Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. The Reverend Damian Sallazar will officiate the services.
Mrs. Faircloth was preceded in death by her parents Elliott and Rosalee Smith; her husband, Franklin Roosevelt Faircloth Sr.; a son, Timothy Greg Faircloth; one brother, James Carol Smith. She is survived by her two sons Franklin Roosevelt Faircloth Jr. and James Michael Faircloth. Three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren survive. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mrs. Faircloth loved to spend time with her family and friends. She also loved to read her bible. She enjoyed bowling, working in her flowers, and fishing. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family will have many fond memories to cherish for years to come.
Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Heartland Hospice and Hospice of the Golden Isles.
