Born on September 8, 1993, in Brunswick, Georgia, to Greg and the late Evelyn Wheeler, Caroline was a beacon of joy and kindness. Her incredible sense of humor and deep love for animals, especially cats, endeared her to all who knew her.
Caroline's commitment to her community and faith was evident early in life. She served as an altar server at St. William's Catholic Church and was a proud graduate of Frederica Academy, Class of 2011, where she was an active member of the Model UN, the Crew team, and 707. Her dedication to service was further highlighted by the Presidential Volunteer Award, which she received every year since elementary school.
After graduating from Wesleyan College in 2015 with a degree in accounting, Caroline began a successful career. At the time of her death, Caroline was employed by Marsh McLennan.
She is survived by her father, Greg Wheeler (Katha), stepbrother Tanner Tovey, grandmother
Edna Wheeler, uncles and aunts Harold and Karen Carney, Gary and Lynda Wheeler, and a
host of family and friends who will cherish her memory, including lifelong friends, Paul Allen,
J.D., and Marilois Keith. She will be deeply missed by her boyfriend Alex Pulido and her
roommates Gloretta Young and Michael Valera.
A celebration of Caroline's life will be held on September 6, 2025 at Epworth By The Sea on St. Simons Island, in the Ellie Harvey room beginning at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. William Catholic Church (2300 Frederica Road, St. Simons Island, Georgia 31522) in memory of Caroline Wheeler
