Carolyn “Lyn” Law Day, age 64, died Sunday, October 10, 2010. Lyn was originally from Millen, Georgia but spent many years in Waynesboro raising her family. She had been a resident of St. Simons Island for the last sixteen years. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.A. Law, Jr. and Carolyn Palmer Law.
She is survived by her husband, James Day; two sons, James Lee Day, II (Amy) of Charlotte, NC and Shelly Day (Meg) of Martinez, GA; five grandchildren, Andrew, Peyton, Erin, Keaton and Olivia Day; a brother, Joe Law of Millen and sister, Palmer Ellsworth of St. Simons Island.
A celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Chaplain Pat McCord officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
