

Carroll G. “Cal” McDonald, 52, a resident of Brunswick Died Thursday in the Sear Manor Nursing Home in Brunswick.
Mr. McDonald was a native of Brunswick and had been a resident of Brunswick for 46 years. He was a 1975 graduate of Glynn Academy. He was the owner and operator of Audio Design from 1987 to 2004.
His hobbies as a teenager were CB radio and Music. He played the Trombone and was Drum Major for the Glynn Academy Band. He was a member of Cub Scout Pack 207 and Boy Scout Troop 204.
Cal instilled a love of sports, Star Trek, the outdoors and scouting in his two sons.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Quinton McDonald.
Survivors are his two sons, William C. McDonald of Cologne, Germany and Andrew P. McDonald of Atlanta, Ga., his former wife, Cynthia Kroscavage McDonald of Brunswick, his mother, Sarah Slade McDonald of Brunswick, his brother, William Slade McDonald of Poway, CA., his aunt and uncle, Dorman and Rudine McDonald of Brunswick, Robert and Margie McDonald Wendel of Brunswick, aunt, Lou Slade Murphy of Roanoke, VA., nieces and nephews, Hannah Kroscavage, Logan Kroscavage and Avery Kroscavage all of Brunswick, and extended family, Patricia and Andrew Kroscavage, Virginia and James B. Barber,, Candy (Barber) and Michael Gonzalez, Julie and Michael Kroscavage, and Kim and Stephen Kroscavage, and many other cousins, nieces.
Memorial Services will be held at 7:30 PM, Sunday, May 16 in the Chapel of the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. Rev. James E. Crandall officiating.
The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 6:30 to 7:30 PM Sunday.
