

She was a native and lifelong resident of McIntosh County. She attended McIntosh County Schools. She was a member of the Morgan’s Chapel United Methodist Church in McIntosh County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred M. Wallace.
Survivors are her sons, Charles A. “Shorty” Wallace (Sandra), Dennis E. Wallace (Faith) Bruce W. Wallace and William R. Wallace (Meg) all of Belle Bluff, John A. Wallace (Gale) of Meridian, James L. Wallace (Donna) of South Newport, grandchildren, Sonya L. Lumley, Georgia A. NeSmith, Alfred Wallace, III, Aaron Wallace, Holly Wallace, Laney Wallace, Will Wallace, great grandchildren, Kayla Lumley, Shelby NeSmith, Andrews Nesmith, three sisters, Dorothy Kieger (Gene) , Sally Griffin (Ed) both of Meldrim, Ga., Denise Deverger (Talmadge) of Townsend, Ga.,, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday in the Morgan’s Chapel UMC with Rev. Melissa Traver officiating. Interment will follow in the Churchyard.
Active pallbearers will be: Randy Griffin, Gary Wallace, Alfred Wallace, III, Mark Douglas, Frankie Wallace and Mark Deverger. Honorary pallbearers will be: Bob Snook, Doug and Sherri Peavy, Ted and Judy Seaman, D. L. and Mary Ann McIntosh and Ladies of Morgan’s Chapel
The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 6 to 9 PM Tuesday and request in lieu of flowers contributions to the Morgan’s Chapel or Hospice of the Golden Isles.
