Charles Edward Aspinwall

Charles “Charlie” Edward Aspinwall, passed peacefully into eternity at his residence in Brunswick, Georgia, Friday, February 4, 2022. Charles was born in Patterson, Georgia the son of the late Charles Moultrie Aspinwall and the late Geraldine Victoria Farrow. He was also preceded in death by a son, Edward Franklin Aspinwall; a grandson, Christopher Hutchinson.

Charles has resided in Glynn County most of his life. He was a truck driver and was self-employed. He was always a hard worker and providing for his family was very important to him. He was an outdoorsman and had created a little paradise on his 10 acre property. He was known to have a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. He was proud of his lilies and roses. He was very mechanical inclined and even built his own camper and his truck. He was also an animal lover and had raised Dachshunds to sell. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. Charles will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 63 years, Dell Aspinwall; three daughters, Debbie Davis (Perry), Cheryl Hutchinson (Larry), and Vicki Rivera; one son, Jerry Aspinwall (Tracie); 7 grandchildren, Ashlee and Andrew Davis, Jason Hutchinson, also Jordon, Danny, and Dean Aspinwall, Brittany Taylor and Daisy Bray; one sister, Martha Frick (Wayne); a brother, Donald Trull (Dot); 1/2 sisters, Bernice and Kathy Aspinwall, and Sarah Parker; ½ brother, Milton Aspinwall. 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held between 12 – 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Williams officiating. The burial will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery.
