Sister Griffis. I have thought about you and your wonderful husband many times over the years. It was a privilege to spend time with him while serving as a missionary in Jesup. I found the obituary after thinking about cane syrup of all things, never had had it until I met him. I have found memories of the "Ice Cream Cone" song that he sang for me one night after visiting lost saints. Your love and laughter will stick with me for life.

Harry, Roger, Travis and Harrison......I was saddened to hear of Clem's passing.  I would like to extend my condolences and deepest sympathy on the loss of your father and grandfather.  May our Lord's hand rest upon you and your families touching each of you with its love, peace, strength, comfort and understanding as you grieve your loss.  

At the funeral I heard of Clem's  ministery through his church but to me that is only small part of his life.  Clem practiced what he preached daily by how he lived, worked and in his business dealings.  Clem was man of the highest integrity.  His word was the gospel.  I have no clue how he estimated a job but he lived by his estimates without ever complaining about losing money which I am certain was the case a few times.  He always strived to produce a quality product and he never missed a delivery that I can recall even in emergency situations.  I remember Clem calling me on a few occassions to get my opinion on an idea or job he was interested in bidding because he did not want to do anything to compete or take business directly from B&W's customers.  He was one of the most honest and trustworthy businessmen that I have known.   I am fortunate to have worked with Clem for over 30 years. I certainly will not forget him and especially the coal silo project that we did together at Lakeland. I imagine that he had a positive influence on almost everyone he contacted; he made this place better by his presence.

We will truly miss Mr. Clem.  He has been an instrumental part of the Richardson family over the years and he was a shining star among the members of the church.
