

Craig Rodger Morrell, 85, of Brunswick, departed this life Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Hospice of The Golden Isles. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Glyndale Baptist Church with Reverend Ken Creekmore officiating. Interment will follow at Hortense Cemetery with Cameron Ribron, Justin Morrell, Andrew Mallard, Michael Dussling, Bob Causey and Ben Key serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will member of The Armed and Dangerous Sunday School Class.
Born June 27, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to the late John David and Myrtle Edna P. Morrell, he was a veteran of The US Air Force. Mr. Morrell had been a resident of Glynn County since 1964. He was retired from Haven Manufacturing Tool and Die. He was a member of Glyndale Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and was a member of The Armed and Dangerous Sunday School Class. He enjoyed fishing, mowing his yard, and coffee from Parkers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Ann Causey Morrell.
Survivors include his daughter Janet Morrell Ribron and husband Chris of Brunswick, a son, Jim Morrell and wife Rachel of Athens, four grandchildren, Jordan Mallard and husband Andrew, Justin Morrell and wife Jori, Caylee Dussling and husband Michael, and Cameron Ribron and Carrigan, two great grandchildren, Colton and Wyatt Mallard, a sister Marilyn Kosyk and husband Rick of Canton, GA, a brother, Charlie Morrell of VA, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday morning September 14, 2024 from 10 am until the funeral hour at Glyndale Baptist Church. Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. www.edomillerandsons.com
