David Thomas Pollard

David was a native of Altoona, PA but had been a resident of Saint Simons for almost 40 years. He was a jeweler on Saint Simons for over 20 years. David enjoyed being an Airbnb Super Host on Saint Simons. He adored his three dogs, Cub, Rudy, and Ziti. Taking them for a walk was one of his favorite things to do. His favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers and truly enjoyed hanging out at Albos to watch them play. His passion was riding his Harley throughout the country when he had the chance.

David is survived by his wife, Lori Pollard of Saint Simons Island, GA; daughter, Heather L. Pollard of Altoona, PA; son, Dustin T. Pollard of Altoona, PA; sister, Patricia pollard of Florida; sister-in-law, Sher Pollard of Saint Simons Island, GA; nephews, Stephen Pollard, Jimmy Baumgarner, and Craig Baumgarner; nieces, Jackie Pollard Flaugh, Denise Baumgarner, and Bonnie Koch.

The family will have a celebration of life from 4-6 PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral home on July 18, 2023. The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to The Humane Society in honor of his love for his dogs.

A celebration of life gathering and reception for David will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
