Delma Martin

Mr. Martin was a native of Fitzgerald, Ga., and had been a resident of Brunswick since 1988 coming from Fitzgerald. He was employed with Wal-Mart in Brunswick. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Brunswick.

Mr. Martin loved to bake cakes and pies and loved Blue Grass Music.

Survivors are his wife, Flossie Queen Martin of Brunswick, children, Lorin Martin and Larry martin both of Jacksonville, FL., Jeanette Martin of Fitzgerald, Ga., Mark Price of Orange City, FL., Steve Price of Langston, Ohio, Laura Moyers of Brunswick, and Paula Palaso of Deltona, Fl., twos sister, Martha martin and Verdie Martin, 17 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Friday 3/23/12 in the United Pentecostal Church in Brunswick with Rev. H. E. Wheatley officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Pearson, Ga.

Active pallbearers will be: Lamar Young, David Young, Wayne Horne, Andy Hill, Ray Potter, Buck Courson and Randy Lundgren. Honorary pallbearers will be Employees of Wal0Mart in Brunswick, Mack Woodard, W. H. Moyers, Sr. and Men’s Pray Group of United Pentecostal Church.

The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 5 to 7 P.M. Thursday night.
