Delores Leutisia Sizemore

Delores Leutisia Sizemore, age 87, of Brunswick, Georgia passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Gracemore Nursing Home and Rehab Facility. She was born in Ludowici, GA and had been a lifelong resident of Brunswick, GA.

Delores was employed by the Brunswick News for 41 years. She absolutely loved working for them. She was also employed by Golden Isles Office Equipment for several years. She attended many churches throughout her life but was a member of the Church of God. She was a Sunday school teacher at Sears Manor and also Gracemore Nursing Home and Rehab Facility. Delores enjoyed game shows and loved the Atlanta Braves.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Davis, SR and Ollie Cox Davis; her husband, Ted Sizemore; sister, Bobbie Davis Carver, and a daughter, Jeanette Sizemore Altman. She is survived by Luther Davis, Jr, brother, of Ivy, Sc; Dean Jones, Sister, of Newbern, NC; Lee Davis, brother, of Brantley, GA; three sons, Shelton Sizemore of Everett, GA; William (Lynda) Sizemore of Brantley, GA; and Douglas Sizemore of Brunswick, GA. She is survived by many grandchildren: Robert "Buddy" Sizemore of Everett City, GA; Shelly Harris of Darien, GA; Eric (Rachel) Sizemore of Brantley, GA; Holly (Greg) Boone of Cox, GA; Ryan "Fred" (Crystal) Sizemore of Brantley, GA; Jacqueline Altman of Cox, GA; Douglas Sizemore, JR of Brunswick, GA; and Hailey Finch of Kingsland, GA. She is survived by several Great Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a 1 PM service on Thursday April, 27th and Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Davis Cemetery in Long county, GA. Pallbearers will be Robert "Buddy" Sizemore, Carson Sizemore, Ryan "Fred" Sizemore, Billy Sizemore, Eric Sizemore, and Joshua Sizemore. Honorary Pallbearers will be Edward Altman and the Hospice of the Golden Isles.
