Dorothy Bryant Middleton

Dorothy was born on January 4, 1923 in Salina, Kansas. She was the daughter of Lorenzo and Mildred Parsons. She enlisted in the Navy during World War II where she met and married Charles Buster Middleton while both were in the Navy in Florida. They returned to Miami after the war to raise their family and later moved to Brunswick in 1965. He predeceased her in 2000. She was a retired secretary at the Brunswick Hospital.

Survivors are her two children Charles R. “Chuck” Middleton of Cathedral City, California and Alexander G. Middleton (Casey) of Forest, Virginia; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and two sisters, Frances and Elizabeth of Mesa, Arizona.

A graveside service to be held 3:00PM, Friday, May 4, 2018 in Hortense Cemetery. Reverend Ron Stayman of the North Brunswick Wesleyan Church will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, GA 31525 or the North Brunswick Wesleyan Church, 105 Buckingham Place, Brunswick, GA 31525.
