Edna Faye Glisson, 78, of Brunswick, departed this life Friday, December 8, 2017 at SGHS in Glynn County. Memorial services will be held at 11AM Friday, December 15, 2017 at St. Simons Community Church, with inurnment following at St. Williams Catholic Church Columbarium.
Born October 13, 1939 in Meridian, Mississippi, to the late Hugh H. and Mattie Sue Brantley, she was a retired Registered Pediatric Nurse from Southeast Georgia Health System. Mrs. Glisson was a member of St. Simons Community Church and had been a resident of Glynn County for over 50 Years. She loved the Lord, traveling, cooking and spending time with family.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Ronald W. Glisson, Sr. of Brunswick, children, Susan K. Clark (Paul) of Hortense, Nancy Hulse (Chris) of Savannah, Mary Cason (Tony) of Brunswick and Ronald W. Glisson, Jr. (Sara) of St. Simons Island, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a brother Hugh Brantley (Claudia) of Spartanburg, SC.
