Elizabeth Granny/Nanny "Liz" Hall

Liz was a native of Alma, Georgia and had been a resident of Glynn County for most of her life. She retired from Villas by the Sea on Jekyll Island. Called Granny by her grandchildren and Nanny by her nieces and nephews, Liz loved spending time with her family. She was one of 14 children and enjoyed the company of her brothers and sisters. Whether it was going to garage sales or rocking on the back porch, she always made time for her family. A great listener, friend and cook, Liz will greatly be missed.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Devon Davis, her parents, John and Delorise Hall, a brother, Donnie Hall, and a sister, Latrelle Falagan.

She is survived by her two sons, Keith Davis of Townsend, Ga., and Michael (Polly) Davis of Brunswick, grandchildren, Hillary Jones, Chase Davis, Jonathan Davis, Trey Davis, Ivey Davis, Jenna Davis and Abby Elizabeth Davis, seven sisters, Delorise Jane Welch of Atkinson, Ga., Zada Mae Rolling of Wetumpka, AL, Barbara Ann Beckham, Christell Harris, Mary (Chris) Stewart, Beatrice Willis, Sandy (Keith) Herndon all of Brunswick, and Marie (Shane Danielson) Dismuke of Grand Marias, MN., three brothers, Robert (Juanita) Hall and Ronnie (Virginia) Hall both of Brunswick and James (Martha) Hall of Nahunta, Ga., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Monday in the Chapel of the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery in Brunswick.

The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM Sunday.

Active pallbearers will be Chase Davis, Eddie Hardman, Ron Harris, Vernon Harris, Jeff Mericle, Jack Morris Jr., Richard Toole, Wendall Whitley and Kevin Yarborough. Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, all local law officers and employees of Villa by the Sea.

The family request contributions to the Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, Ga. 31525.
