Ernest "Doug" Douglas Brock Jr.

Doug was born June 8, 1946 in Brunswick, Georgia the son of the late Ernest Douglas Brock Sr. and the late Ellen Agnes Brock. He served his country with honors as a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Doug later retired as a Sanitation Supervisor with Glynn Country Public Works.

Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Douglas Brock Sr. and Ellen Agnes Brock; a sister, Marsha Brock. Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Tosha L. Brock of Hortense, GA; his two sons, Jody D. Brock of Hortense, GA and Ernest D. Brock III of Oklahoma; also his wonderful grandchildren, Azjah L. Brock of Hortense, GA, Cheyanne D. Brock of Hortense, GA, Gaby L. Turner of Hortense, GA, and Scarlett R. Brock of Saint Simons Island, GA; two sisters, Cindy West (Herbert) of Missouri and Laura Benjamin (Phillip) of Hortense, GA; a brother, Johnny Brock of Texas.

Doug loved to spend time with his family and friends. He was always devoted to his family. He enjoyed fishing and watching westerns. Doug will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. His family will have many fond memories to cherish for years to come.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 PM on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. A Memorial Service to honor Doug’s life will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, February 19, 2018 in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Army.
