Ethel Howard Davis, age 92, of Brunswick, died Monday, April 14, 2014. Ethel was born in Pierce County, Georgia but lived in Glynn County most of her life. She came from a family of farmers and enjoyed cooking, crocheting and fishing and was a Cosmetologist by trade. She was a member of Arco United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a sister, Lawana Pafford of Texas; two grandsons, Brady Shierling of St. Simons Island and Dan Shierling of Waycross; a great-grandson, Josh Shierling of Waycross; a son-in-law, Tom Shierling of Waverly and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014 at 11:00 am at Arco United Methodist Church with Rev. George Herndon officiating. Burial will follow in Palmetto Cemetery.
