Frances White Hulse entered peacefully into Heaven’s Gates Friday, June 25, 2021 at the age of 88, in Savannah, Ga. She was born in Ahoskie, N.C., the daughter of James H. White and Frances Nicholls White. She was also preceded in death by her late husband, James Edward Hulse, Jr.; a brother Jim White; and her sister, Jean Robbins.
Frances graduated from Durham High School and later attended the University of North Carolina. She loved her family and was a devoted lady of faith. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Brunswick where she sang in the choir. She could also be seen volunteering at the Manna House and the Towers. She was an avid reader and was known to bake goods just to give away. Frances was generous to others in need and would give the shirt off her back to those less fortunate. She had a special fondness for the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her many memories are her daughters, Lindy Aiken of Savannah, Ga., Camille Powell and her husband, Vic, also Miriam Vonashek, all of Brunswick, Ga.; as well as her sons, Eddie Hulse and his wife, Robin, of Washington State and Chris Hulse and his wife, Nancy, of Savannah, Ga. She leaves behind several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
