Born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1930 to parents Thomas Howell and Louis Spies Scott, Frank attended Atlanta schools including Emory and Atlanta Division of the University of Georgia. He was called to active duty to the Air Force in 1950 during the Korean conflict.
While enjoying a successful real estate career in Atlanta, his love of aviation and golf were big parts of his life. He received his commercial airline license at the age of 28 years old. He helped build his favorite airplane with his friend and shared time with members of the Experimental Aircraft Association 905 Chapter. Enjoying golf at Capital City Club, Peachtree Golf Club and Sea Island Golf Club were frequent pastimes. And of course, his Harley Davidson motorcycles roared through the streets of Glynn County.
He died peacefully wishing all of his friends love and happiness.
He is survived by his wife, Gale Roebuck Scott; daughter, Carol Christian Scott; son, Frank Elwood Scott, Jr. and sister, Lois Moyer (John).
As per the deceased wishes, funeral arrangements will be private.
