On the afternoon of Thursday October 15, 2015 a shining star lost her sparkle but left her mark forever in the hearts of those who knew her. Our beloved Frankie Stuckey Talley Knight, daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, got her spunk from her momma and her stubbornness from her daddy.
She loved going on long drives looking at Victorian houses, and everyone who knew Frankie knew how she loved to drink…coffee! Frankie dreamt of retiring to the mountains, a room with a view. A lover of all animals, she constantly brought home strays starting at a young age.
Her family was her everything and she played the role of mother to many throughout her life. Living next to her parents and sister in Brunswick (Frog Hollow), she was exactly where she wanted to be.
Frankie has joined her mother, Ruby Walker Stuckey, and sister, Carol Stuckey Thorn Hosey, in heaven to watch over her family. She is survived by her father William F Stuckey Jr and stepmother Elouise Stuckey, husband, Billy Knight, daughter, Lindsay Talley Clark, twin sons, Franklin and David Knight, granddaughters Peyton and Melanie; stepsons, Billy and Sam Knight. She is also survived by her sister, Patti Stuckey Chandler, her nieces and nephews, Brandice Thorn, Danielle Chandler Tapley, Ashley Thorn McCloskey and William Chandler; great-nieces and nephews Maddox, Kayla and Savannah; life-long best friend Meg Wells and Teddy Bear.
A celebration of Frankie’s life will be held on Sunday, October 18th at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with visitation from 2-3 pm and service at 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shriner’s Hospital or the American Humane Society.
