Gary Lane Poppell, 49, of Brunswick, died Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 3PM Friday, May 20, 2011 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Stillwell officiating.
Born November 23, 1961 to Edmond V. Poppell, Jr. and Sadie Bell Helms, he was a self employed auto mechanic. He was a lifelong resident of Glynn County and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his daughter, Keisha Lane , his father, Edmond V. Poppell, Jr., his mother, Sadie Helms, a granddaughter, Alexis Lane, a sister, Doris Ann Cain and husband Chris, a niece, Ashley Cain, and two nephews, Christopher Cain and Andrew Cain, all of Brunswick.
