Hector was born in Puerto Rico to Eufemio Santana and Rosa Rivera. He proudly served for 24 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1985. His service in Vietnam earned him a Bronze Star. The Air Force allowed him to travel the world and meet many interesting people, including his wife, Patsy Sue Adams, who was also in the Air Force. In his spare time, Hector enjoyed woodworking and building and fixing computers. His favorite times were spent outside fishing. He loved animals, his family and God deeply. He will be missed.
In addition to his parents, his wife, Patsy and a brother, Eufemio Santana, Jr., preceded Hector in death.
He is survived by a daughter, Andrea Adams-Santana of Brunswick; six brothers, Michael Santana (Wilma), Alexander Santana (Tanya) of New York, David Morales Rivera, Julio Morales Rivera (Liza) Carlos Santana and Jesus Morales Rivera, all of Puerto Rico; two sisters, Maria and Rose Morales, also of Puerto Rico and several nieces and nephews.
