Helen Clary Campbell

Helen Clary Campbell, 89, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015 at her residence. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2015 with Reverend Bobby Tatum officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Mrs. Campbell is a life - long resident of Brunswick, GA, born October 11, 1925 to the late Emmitt Sidney Clary, and the late Virginia Goodbread. She retired after thirty five years from Hayes Construction Company, and was a lifelong member of Norwich Street Baptist Church.

Mrs. Campbell was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, reading, cooking, and spending quality time with her family.

In addition to Mrs. Campbell’s parents she is preceded in death by her husband Carl E. Campbell, son Larry Campbell, and her granddaughter Jessica.

Survivors include her son Gary Campbell and wife Cherril of Brunswick, GA; daughter in law Claire Campbell Thompson; a grandson Wayne Campbell, Jr.; three great- grandchildren Devon Campbell, Benjamin Rushing and wife Ansley, and Rebecca Rushing; and three great- great- grandchildren Savanna, Rayleigh, and Denley.
