Jacqueline “Jackie” Star Turley, 80, of Jacksonville, departed this life Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Riverwood Nursing Home in Jacksonville. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11AM Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in Palmetto Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Curtis officiating.
Born October 6, 1934 in St. Augustine, Florida to the late Jack and Mary C. Estrella, she was a former resident of Brunswick and was a graduate of Glynn Academy Class of 1952. Mrs. Turley was a homemaker and was of the Catholic Faith. She enjoyed giving to others, was very artistic, and loved to cook. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Savino.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Danny Turley of Jacksonville, two daughters, Brenda Arambula (Frank) of Davie, FL, and Jadan Brown (Daniel) of Jones, AL, five grandchildren, Lindsay Tsai, Carly Arambula, Brett Lanham, Austin Brown, and Wyatt Brown, two great grandchildren, Mali Tsai and Melody Lanham, and a nephew, Michael Savino.
