

Tommy was a native and lifelong resident of Glynn County. He graduate of Glynn Academy. He was owner and operator for Tommy’s Auto Repair Shop and retiring in 2005. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he was an Artillery Surveyor advisor and was an excellent marksman and received the good conduct medal. He was a member of the Emanuel United Methodist Church in Brunswick.
He loved gardening, his fruit trees and his wonderful tomatoes. He loved fishing and hunting in the past. He built his home himself with the help of his son.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Thomas Benjamin and Bernice Evelyn McIntosh Crosby, a brother, William Henry “Bill” Crosby, and two sisters, Carol Drury and Mary Evelyn Fox.
Survivors are his wife, Mary B. Crosby of Brunswick, daughter, Karen Lynne Crosby (Michael W. Biggers) of Ocilla, Ga. , a son, James Thomas “Jimmy” Crosby, Jr. of Brunswick, grandchildren, January Dawn Crosby, Jamie Crosby, Tia Tyner and Terra Tyner, a great grandchild, Hannah Grace Crosby, two sisters, Jane Brauda (Henry) and Edith Hall both of Brunswick and a brother Alfred Benjamin Crosby of Brunswick, a sister-in-law, Brenda Keene (Mike) of Brunswick and a brother-in-law, James Olan Blocker, Jr. (Glenda) of Brunswick, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at 1 PM, Saturday at the Emanuel United Methodist Church with Rev. Carl Barnhardt officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Church before the services.
The family request contributions to the Emanuel United Methodist Church, 245 Ratcliff Rd., Brunswick, Ga., 31523 or the Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, Ga., 31525.
