

Jean Perry Smith, age 78, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Friday, January 31, 2025. Jean was born February 18th, 1946 to the late Edward Loma and Helen Perry. Although she was born in Alma, Georgia she was a Brunswick resident for most of her life, she retired from Sea Island Credit Union and worked at Coastal GA RV Resort after her retirement.
If you knew Jean, you knew her family was her entire world, she loved spending time with her whole family along with baking and cooking. Jean leaves behind her two children, daughter, Dena Beam (Joe), and son, Tommy Smith, along with her four siblings, twin sister, Joan Vann, sister Gail Roberson, and brothers Ronnie (Cindy), and Earl Perry. She leaves behind five precious grandchildren, Kristen Carrier, Melissa Beverage, Sam Vincent, Justin Smith, and Caitlin Bailey along with seven sweet great grand-babies and many loved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, preceded her in death is her Daughter in Law, Dee Kellogg Smith, Brother(s) in Law, Hugh Vann and Richard Roberson, and Sister in Law, Linda Perry.
In closing, the family would like to give a final thank you to Dr. Antonio Moran and his excellent staff at American Oncology for their continuous efforts in Jean's cancer battle. The family would also like to thank Heartland Hospice for ensuring Jean lived her final days in comfort and compassionate care.
