Jorja Carley Rooks

Jorja Carley Rooks, 8 months, was taken into heaven on Monday, October 31, 2011 from her residence in Brunswick. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, November 8, 2011 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with William Myers and Ron Gordon serving as pallbearers.

Infant Rooks was born February 23, 2011 in Brunswick to Jason C. and Beth Holton-Rooks. She is survived by her parents as well as sisters, Alexis Rooks of Hortense, Alyssa Ryals, Payton Ryals, and Kynleigh Rooks, all of Brunswick, brother, Zachary Rooks of Hortense, maternal grandparents, Leigh Ann and Michael Holton of Brunswick, paternal grandfather, Chuck Ryals of Brunswick, maternal great grandparents, Margaret Jung of St. Simons Isl., and Wanda Strickland and husband Sam of Waverly,Paternal great grandmother Lilly Phillips and special friend Sam Rentz of Hortense, five aunts, Rachel McDade and husband Tim of Hortense, Donna Myers and husband Billy of Nanunta, Tammy Phillips and fiance’ Preston King of Hortense, Wanda Gailey and husband Jerry of Hortense, and Lorraine Morgan and husband Jeff of Nahunta. Jorja was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Thelma Ryals, and maternal great grandfathers, JP Jung and James Holton, and paternal great grandfather Clade Phillips..

The family will receive friends Monday evening November 7, 2011 from 6PM until 8 PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
