Born in Hays, Kansas to Dennis and Kathryn Cross, he attended Fort Hays Kansas State College and, in 1974, moved to St. Simons Island, GA where he and his brother, Tom Cross, spent many years working together in the restaurant business. Later, he moved to Jacksonville, FL where he had a career with General Electric in inventory control and delivery services.
Mr. Cross was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Kay Cross and by his older brother, Tom Cross, all of St. Simons Island. He is survived by his siblings; Steve Cross (St. George, UT), Sue Williams (Mercer Island, WA), and Dave Cross (Brush, CO). He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.
