Joseph Brian Strickland, 64, of Brunswick, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at SGHS Brunswick. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Saturday, April 3, 2021 in Palmetto Cemetery with Reverend Don Combs officiating. Please dress casually, and observe social distancing and mask recommendations.
Born December 18, 1956 in Brunswick to Joe W. and Katherine D. Strickland, he was a graduate of Glynn Academy Class of 1975. He had worked at Georgia Pacific / Koch and at Tennessee Dredging Company. Brian was a kind, giving person, always willing to help others, and he will be sorely missed.
Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his parents, Joe W. and Katherine D. Strickland of Brunswick, a sister, Stephanie S. Holder, brothers, Ben Strickland (Regina), Scott Strickland and Sam Strickland, and nieces Courtney Holder and Rebecca McConnell (Gary), and several aunts and uncles.
