Joyce Delaine Meads Carter

Mrs. Carter was a native of Baxley, Georgia and had been a lifelong resident of Brunswick. She was a loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Harry O. Carter, Sr., two sons, Harry O. Carter, Jr., Sandy Jason Carter and a daughter, Latasha Carter.

Survivors are a daughter, Rhonda McSpadden of Hortense, eight grandchildren, Becky Fisher of Hortense, Adam Fisher, Jr. of Hortense, Ga., and Joshua Lawing both of Blackshear, Ga., Ashley Carter of Darien, Corey Carter of Brunswick, Harry Carter, III of Blackshear, Tylor Carter of Brunswick, Chassity Carter of Brunswick, and Landon Carter of Brunswick, five great grandchildren, Adam Fisher, III of Hortense, Abby Felder of Hortense, Kiley and Miley Young both of Darien, and Tymber Fisher of Hortense.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 Am Wednesday 10/20/10 in the Chapel of the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Whaley officiating. Interment will follow in Brunswick Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday night in the Funeral Home.
