Joyce "Joy" Ann Hall

Joyce “Joy” Ann Hall, 90, of Brunswick departed this life May 23, 2025 at Bayview Nursing Home in Nahunta. Funeral services will be conducted at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 29, 2025 with Deacon Chris Sadowski officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am until 11 am Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Pineview, Georgia.

Born April 13, 1935 in Miami, Florida, to the late Lewis Jerrel and Margaret Elsie S. Tombley, she was a retired Registered Nurse with Sea Island Company. Mrs. Hall was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She had been a resident of Glynn County since 1976. She was also a representative for American Scandinavian Student Exchange and hosted many students throughout the years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Joseph Hall, Jr., and her brother Ronald Tombley.

Survivors include her two daughters, Leann Messersmith of Waynesville, and Valree Smilek of Gainesville, FL, her brother, Jerrel Tombley of Trenton, FL, and her sister, Valree Stemple of Texas, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
