Joyce Aline Lemmond

Joyce A. Lemmond, 82, of Brunswick, departed this life Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Hospice of The Golden Isles. Funeral services will be held at 2PM Monday, March 6, 2017 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Ligon officiating.

Born December 8, 1934 in Parma, Missouri to the late Benjamin F. and Mary S. Head, she was a retired owner and operator of Lemmond Letter Shop. Her 40 plus years in the printing business afforded numerous pulpwooders a fulltime job for many years! She says “you are welcome!”

Mama loved painting in her younger years, playing cards with her best friend Ann last week and she passed knowing that Tom Jones was the best thing ever put on planet earth.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Lemmond.

Survivors of this incredible lady include a son, Ronnie Lemmond and his wife Donna of Fernandina Beach, FL, a daughter, Jeanne McCollum and husband Mike of Brunswick, six grandchildren, Megan Robidart, Andrea McCollum, Brandon Lemmond (Erica), Karman Lanier (Marc), Tiffany Pouncey (Lee), and Matthew Minnis, and great grandchildren, Madison Lanier, Mia Lanier, Harper Lanier, Sophie Pouncey, Sadie Pouncey, Ava Minnis, Marley Minnis, Annalea Robidart, and River Lemmond.
