Juanita Huggins

Juanita Huggins, 66, of Brunswick, died Monday, December 20, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 7PM Thursday, December 23, 2010 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Harris officiating.

Born July 27, 1944 to the late Herschel V. Johnson and Nettie Mae Todd, she was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Glynn County, and a graduate of Glynn Academy class of 1963. She was a member of Bay Harbour Church of God and enjoyed singing at church functions. Mrs. Huggins also enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death a daughter, Lori Smith, two brothers Jerry Johnson and Terry Todd, and a sister Patricia Joseph.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Buddy Huggins of Brunswick, a son, Chris Huggins of Stafford, VA, two daughters, Joy Andrews and husband Henry of Nahunta, and Lexa Hayes of Waycross, six grandchildren, Trey Smith, Christopher Pearson, William Hayes, Erica Smith, Kaitlyn Hayes, and Haley Huggins, one brother, Michael Todd of Brunswick, three sisters, Maxine Price of Brunswick, Doris Andrews of Atlanta, and Diane Key of Alabama.

The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon December 23, 2010 from 5PM until 7 PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
