Mrs. Shoemaker was a native of Davenport, Iowa and had been a resident of Brunswick since 1965. She was employed with Altman’s Dress Shop. She was a veteran of the U.S. Women’s Army Air Corp and server faithfully during W.W. II.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother, who not only raised her 6 children and 1 granddaughter, also managed to feed the countless number of children that trickled through her doorways. She had a selfless devotion to Christ and used this to guide every aspect of her life. She will be greatly missed by one and all who knew her.
Rest with Jesus dear mother knowing that we love you and wait to see you in glory.
