Kathleen was born December 17, 1950 in Laconia New Hampshire the daughter of the late Charles James Merrill Jr and the late Alice Rose Merrill. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles James Merrill III. Kathleen had resided in Brunswick, Georgia for the last twenty years. She was previously a secretary with the Glynn County Recreation Department. She also worked in retail sales with Belk’s Department Store and Big Lots. Kathleen always placed her family first, she was also a loving mother and grandmother.
Left to cherish Kathleen’s memories are her son, Eric Rondeau of Aliquippa. PA; her daughter, Jessica N. Slaughter and her fiancé Brandon Ryals of Brunswick, GA; two precious grandchildren, McKenzie Howell and James Bedgood both of Brunswick, GA; two sisters, Lana Talerico of Aliquippa, PA and Joan Thompson of Crown Point, IN. She also leaves behind four nieces and nephews. Several cousins also survive.
Kathleen loved to spend time with her family and friends. She also loved animals and the outdoors. She would always take time to enjoy the beauty of flowers. She also enjoyed the beach and crafts. Kathleen was quite a music lover and loved to dance. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Kathleen’s family will have many fond memories to cherish for years to come.
A Celebration of Life Gathering to honor Kathleen’s life will be held between 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, June 22, 2018 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. You are cordially invited to attend and help the family celebrate a life well lived.
