Kimberly Dawn Coen

Born Kimberly Dawn Smith on August 17th 1966 to Donald Ray Smith Sr. and Cammie Rudine Stevens (McDonald) in Brunswick Georgia.

Kimberly graduated from Brunswick High School and obtained a secondary diploma at Brunswick Junior College. She owned her own tax business; Coen and Associates and did bookkeeping for The Half Shell and Barrier Island Brewing and had an amazing boss, Blake Merrill who was like a son to her and supported her through her health issues.

Kimberly is preceded in death by her Father: Donald Ray Smith Sr.; Her Step-Father Dorman Lorenzo McDonald; Stepson: Dylan Michael Coen; Father-in-law: Mickey Coen and Nephew: Eric Matherly.

Kimberly leaves behind her beloved husband: Jim (JR) Coen, Daughter: Cammie Heinhold (Brian) and granddaughter: Dylan Heinhold; mother: Rudine McDonald (Harold Zell), Brothers: Donald Smith Jr. (Denise) & Steven McDonald (Vivianna). Her Forever sister Michelle Aquino. Nephews: Tony Smith, Andrew Smith (Callie), and Jake Thomas, Wyatt Edwards (Heather), Bryon Edwards. Nieces: Jessica McDonald (Logan Smith), Emily Mcdonald, Samantha Edwards, Yaritza Zelaya (Edwin), Brenda Gomez (Michael Latorre), Elizabeth Buffy, Ashley Buffy. A host of Great-Nieces and Great-nephews A very big, loving extended family, dear friends and the best friend anyone could ask for: Victoria Jones. And a young man who was like a son to her: Caleb Smith.

Kimberly had the most loving heart and the strongest spirit most have ever seen. She will be so dearly missed. The Family will hold a Visitation to celebrate Kimberly’s Life on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Edo Miller Funeral Home, 3321 Glynn Ave, Brunswick, Ga 31520
