

Mr. Taylor was a native and lifelong resident of Brunswick. He was retired from the Brunswick Coca Cola Co. after 33 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brunswick. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp serving it the Pacific area during W.W. II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annice Henderson Taylor.
Survivors are his son, Joseph William Taylor (Charla) of Brunswick, three sisters, Hazel Yeargen of Fitzgerald, Ga., Delores Swink of Columbia, S.C., Lynette Brown (Wayne) of Stone Mountain, Ga., two brothers, Oran Taylor of Browntown, Ga., and Donald Taylor( Lea) of Brunswick, two grandchildren, Josh Hicks, Kemberlie Dixon, a great grandchild, Abigail Dixon and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Thursday from the First Baptist Church of Brunswick with Rev. Tommy McMillan and Dr. Peter Vinenzio officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery with Military Honors at the graveside.
Active pallbearers will be: James Swink, Richard Swink, Jr., Mark Taylor, Bill Reeves, Joshua Hicks and Wayne Brown.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Dr. William Grubb, Dr. Emily Feely and Dr. Theodore Feely and Staff of S.I.C.U. of Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick.
The family request in lieu of flowers, contributions to the Pre-School program of the First Baptist Church of Brunswick. The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday 3/30/11.
