Leon C. Braddock

Leon C. Braddock, 84, of Brunswick, departed this life Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at SGHS. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon July 10, 2015 from 2:30 until 4:00 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with a private family inurment following at Palmetto Cemetery with Bro. Scott McVey officiating.

Born December 6, 1930 in Glynn County, Georgia to the late Joseph H. and Ellen S. Braddock, he was a lifelong resident of Glynn County and retired from Hercules and Pipe Fitters/Steam Fitters Local 177. Mr. Braddock was an avid hunter and fisherman, and all around hardworking man. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was said to have a kind and gentle spirit by all who knew him. Mr. Braddock was a member of Northside Baptist Church, and former member of Norwich Baptist where he was a Sunday School Teacher, Deacon and Choir Member. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Betty Ruth Braddock, as well as 6 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his two daughters, Brenda Bell and husband Ricky, and Nancy Holcomb, two grandchildren, Lauren Holcomb and Spencer Holcomb, and a brother, Ellis Braddock and wife Vera all of Brunswick as well as several nieces and nephews.
