Letrelle Whitley Floyd

Letrelle Whitley Floyd, 64, of Brunswick, departed this life Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Hospice of the Golden Isles. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Creekmore officiating. Interment will follow in Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery with Micah Whitley, Levi Whitley, Aiden Whitley, Adam Floyd, Eddie Floyd, and Malcolm Floyd serving as pallbearers.

Born January 15, 1959 in Brunswick, Georgia to the late George and Kathleen Laura H. Whitley, she was a graduate of Brunswick High School. Mrs. Floyd was a lifelong resident of Brunswick and Member of Glyndale Baptist Church. She was a nurse at SGHS Brunswick Campus for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Kibby.

Survivors include her husband of 15 years, James D. Floyd of Brunswick, a daughter, Laura Kellogg of Brunswick, a son, Brett Kellogg of TN, two grandchildren, Ashlynn Kellogg and Maelynn Kellogg, several stepchildren and step grandchildren, a brother, Leroy Whitley and wife Janice of Claxton, several nieces and nephews, and her feline companion, Miss Kitty.
